Susan 25th March 2020

I have such fond memories of Uncle Paul from childhood, visiting in Cardiff, playing in the garden with Huw and Glyn in the mud pit in the summer. We would often stop off and stay over on our way to Cornwall or Devon when we were kids. Uncle Paul was, as so many have already said a kind and gentle man. He was devoted to his family, his hobbies, groups, friends, football and politics. I shared the same love Gram Parsons with Uncle Paul and will always think of him now when listening to Gram's music, especially Hickory Wind. Uncle Paul and Auntie Janet were extremely supportive of my photography degree in nearby Newport, and I got to spend some Sunday's at their house when living in Cardiff for my final two years. I stayed with Paul and Janet the night before my interview to get accepted onto the course. I remember them both taking the time to look through every single photo, with great interest, of my course trip to NY, and there were many photos to look through! I have lovely and vivid memories of Uncle Paul, Auntie Janet and my cousins Huw and Glyn from when we were young spending time at their house. I can remember the boys' rooms and their interesting toys and hobbies, our trips to Toys'r'us, the many fridge magnets in the kichen and their long time friends and neighbours. Uncle Paul also had such a huge love for his mother and our Grandma Connie. He was a loving son and Grandma was extremely proud of him and her grandchildren. Paul, you will be missed by so many people. I'm so glad after losing Janet that you met Maria, even for such a short time, I know she brought you so much joy and comfort. I hope you are free of pain and worry now. All my love, Susan x
