From David B: Paul and I share Great Grand-Parents. Our mothers (Pat and Connie) were cousins, but were very close and seemed more like sisters. So I have known Paul for all my life. In our youth there was an age gap and a geographical one as well. We didn’t see much of each other, but we always kept in touch, and when Glyn was born I was honored to be asked to be his Godfather. (Sorry about my dereliction of duty there Glyn!). Later in life, and particularly following their move to Cardiff, we saw a lot more of Paul and Janet. We regularly swapped news of family, jobs, hobbies and interests. They were really lovely company, and clearly both dedicated to serving the community in many capacities. Paul was an extremely kind, thoughtful and considerate person, as shown by all these tributes. We will miss him, and our thoughts are with the family.
