From Sandra O: Paul seemed to be so happy when we exchanged cards with letters at Christmas. This news is very sad as it ends a wonderful time in my life when I first met your grandmother Connie in Vancouver and she became a good friend. She took me to Cardiff on my first trip where I met your mom and dad and you two were very young. But your parents made me very welcome and your dad drove us to castle Koch, Cardiff Castle and Caerphilly Castle . I also met Paul and Janet that same visit, the twins and Susan. Your dad told me Mike died near Christmas which was another shock as I didnt know he had been unwell. I will miss writing to Paul, but will never forget him. He corresponded with me after Connie died and I so looked forward to hearing from him to catch me up with the family. He had shared with me that Janet had cancer, and when she passed, so soon after shared his diagnosis about his cancer and I prayed for his health. He never complained and seemed to have found some happiness with his lady friend from Argentina. I knew your Aunt Barbara Robinson and Reg when he was alive and again Paul let me know when Barbara passed away. Barbara and I wrote to each other again all because I met them through Connie. Barbara had ket me know also when Connie died and then when Reg did. I feel like I have almost been a part of your family. Connie was so kind and caring and she was so loved. I miss her friendship every day! You dad was so kind to keep me informed with his nice letters. He had a generous heart and I will remember like I do Connie. I live too far away to come to his celebration of life service, but I will be there in spirit. I know your dad is with Janet and Connie and Barbara and Reg and Mike looking down at their family. They are all at peace and no longer suffering.
