Uncle Paul, A calm, gentle, caring, intelligent and kind man. I have many happy memories of you visiting Sheffield, but mostly of us visiting you in Cardiff as children, but then as adults visiting with our own children. You were always so welcoming and engaged with the children. You took time to get to know them and they loved coming to visit. You were always so full of ideas and suggestions of what we could do and where we could go on our day trips. I will especially remember and cherish our chats while we washed and dried the pots, after Auntie Janet had cooked us a lovely meal. I was amazed by your knowledge and commitment to so many causes over the years, even up to the end. Your commitment to being a School Governor made such a difference to peoples lives and I admired your dedication to the Labour Party, your in depth knowledge and enthusiasm for trains, your passion for music, particularly jazz and last but not least your support and love of Sheffield United Football Club. I enjoyed listening to you telling stories about all of these things as well as stories about Grandma, Mum and your friends growing up in Sheffield. After losing Janet to cancer and then receiving your own diagnosis, it's been a joy to see you find hope again with Maria. You gave your all to everything you did You will be missed enormously and I will always be thankful for having such a special Uncle. All my Love Sarah xxx
